Our exhibits
Enjoy a unique and enriching experience viewing our two permanent exhibits installed within the walls of an authentic cheese factory that’s over one hundred years old. On the ground floor, explore the Cheddar Production and Export exhibit that will transport you to the very heart of the craft of cheddar making, from production right up to shipping on the export market, as well as its aging process.

Then on the first floor, enter the Cheesemaker’s home which is an historical recreation of a 20^th century home with furniture and various accessories that are a testimony to its former owners’ way of life. Come in and have a chat with our guide in period costume who’ll tell you all about the daily life of a cheesemaker, along with a few colourful anecdotes. Maybe you’ll surprise her in the process of making her delicious fudge or her cheesecake fruit squares.
